Description

Eleanor Meynell (piano) and Ellie Fagg (violin) are co-founders of enSEmble26, an outstanding chamber music collective which performs concerts in South East London. The ensemble was formed out of a desire to play great chamber music with some of the best musicians living in the area and has grown to be a local musical gem.

As a duo, Eleanor and Ellie have explored much of the piano and violin repertoire and during lockdown they performed and recorded all of the Beethoven violin and piano sonatas for their extensive online audience.

Practical Action is an international development charity with a difference. Founded by the radical economist and philosopher Fritz Schumacher, author of 'Small is beautiful', the charity knows that the simplest ideas can have the most profound, life-changing effect. For over 40 years, it has been working with some of the world?s poorest people, using appropriate technology to fight poverty and transform lives for the better. This concert is promoted by the charity?s SE London Group of supporters
