This Saturday 27th August get yourselves down to the Frog and Fiddle, as we welcome 'Pylon Poets' to the Barn for the first time! Bringing some of the best in UK Alt-Rock all the way from Torquay! Featuring support from 'More Human Than Human' & 'Blacklist'!
PYLON POETS
Pylon Poets are an Alternative Rock band from Torquay, Devon, UK. Inspired by the sounds of many rock, synth and high energy bands, the end result is a blended, unique sound, staying true to their sonic vision.
Pylon Poets have a back catalogue of melodic synth layered songs combining themes of the modern world, pop culture, love and political statements, the band continue to reach audiences with relatable lyrical content, sing along choruses and striking imagery.
With previous UK tours and an array of festival appearances, the band has shared festival stages with artists such as Reef, GUN, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Scouting for Girls and Ash. Pylon Poets continue to grow as they explore new genres, delve in to experimentation and aim to break new musical barriers.

More Human Than Human are a two piece prog rock/metal band blending groovy bass riffs with massive drums and atmospheric synths inspired by Blade Runner.

Imagine the love child of Muse and the Foo Fighters brought kicking and screaming into the world by Royal Blood, and you?ll have some idea of what Bristol based alternative rock band Blacklist are bringing to the music scene? Formed in 2017 with Saul Blease on bass/vocals, Elliott Tottle from Everything Else on guitar and Joe Webb on drums, Blacklist produce music with dynamic bass lines and catchy hooks with imaginative and emotive lyrics that immediately strike a chord with listeners.
