Join EYES as they flamboyantly smash a bottle of Champaigne against the side of the good ship Claptrap and declare the new upstairs gig room open to the public!
Stay with them as they proceed to pop open another 4 bottles and chug one each in celebration of the anniversary of their album 'FILTH', recorded, in this very room, during everyone's 2nd favourite lockdown.
The band probably need no introduction to those coming. But incase you haven't seen 'em before they're loud, high energy, punk inspired, glam rock.

EYES are supported by their Black Country rock brothers MISTRUSTED.
A juggernaut of a 3 piece, with monterous hooks and a wall of sound like no other. They go down a storm at events all over the Midlands and we're really pleased to have them come and kickstart our new series of upstairs gigs.

Tickets are very limited due to the cozy nature of the room.
We really really like music. We like putting on music events. We also really really like really nice people so we opened an independent venue to give a home to good live music and generally lovely folk. We span many genres. All of them in fact - at least we’re trying to - yes, even Jazz!
We’re friendly, cosy, alternative and intimate. We are a music venue for musicians.
We also do poetry nights, quizzes...you get the gist.
We much prefer original bands. We don’t mind a few covers thrown in but unless you’re offering something quite bonkers & original then it’s generally a no for covers.
Claptrap is 1st floor venue & bar, catering for live music, entertainment, theatre, poetry, quizzes & jazz. (Occasionally hired for private functions).
Not your usual venue - it has Chesterfield sofas, wingback chairs and frilly lampshades aplenty!
An extensive range of bottled and canned craft beers are available incl. Kona, Mongozo, Beavertown, Dark Arts, Siren, Wild Beer Co.
On draught - Freedom 4 Lager, Freedom Pale Ale, Thatchers Old Rascal Cider.
