Description

A moody, brooding family saga, set on a rugged Adriatic island off the Croatian coast. The controlling and often violent father, Ante, the emotionally ambiguous mother, Nella, and the discontented daughter, Julia, eke out a living diving for moray eels (murina). A rare visit from the outside world in the form of Javier, a wealthy land dealer who may well buy part of Ante?s property, raises the emotional stakes as 17-year-old Julia tests herself against Javier?s roving eye.
