Exactly what will transpire is impossible to predict ? come along and be part of it. Everyone is welcome to bring an instrument, or just turn up and we'll find you something. We'll be making music together in a spontaneous, unplanned way, where anything can happen.
Some will be happening in the main hall, some upstairs in our dance studio.
Carolyn and Paul are fantastic improvising musicians, on piano and percussion respectively. They lead wonderfully inclusive workshops where everyone is able to contribute, whether you have loads of musical experience aready or none at all.
Angus Balbernie is a dancer and choreographer with decades of experience teaching and leading improvisation sessions with experienced dancers and beginners alike. All are welcome ? come along and see what you can do.
Ashburton Arts Centre is a community-owned and run place where the arts of all kinds happen.
It opened in 2018 in the town's old Methodist Church. Come see world-class live music, theatre, etc plus local performers, classes and community events.
