Widely regarded as one of the best players of english traditional folk, Archie Churchill-Moss has worked as a session musician for some of the uk?s top folk acts (Cara Dillon, Eliza Carthy, Blair Dunlop, Jim Moray) and producers (Andy Bell, Ed Harcourt), as well as performing with the trio, ?Moore, Moss, Rutter? ? the outfit which saw him receive the coveted BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award in 2011.

The past two years have seen archie tour extensively across western europe and perform at some of europe?s top music festivals, including headline slots at ?Colours of Ostrava (czech republic), Tønder festival (denmark), Cropredy Convention (uk) and Cambridge Folk Festival (uk).
With a contemporary approach to composition and arrangement archie has developed a style of playing that draws as much influence from the tradition as it does modern popular music. he is currently seen to perform with: ?Tom Moore & Archie Moss?, ?Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys? and ?False Lights?.

"This collection of music is the result of the past 5 years of writing. The idea for this record came after needing a shift in focus for my practice. Having always used composition to inform my technical development, it seemed appropriate to explore the various tonal centres that my
accordion was capable of navigating."

Rowan Collinson and Elye Cuthbertson show musical maturity beyond their years, effortlessly blending their distinctive fiddle and melodeon styles. Both alumni of the National Youth Folk Ensemble, their sensitive and instinctive approach to English folk music produces expressive and exciting arrangements.

Green Note was founded by two friends and passionate music lovers who wanted to create their ideal place to hang out in London...

Our dream was to create a place where we could share music that we loved – somewhere with a laid back, intimate and friendly atmosphere. Becoming friends in our school days, the seed for our idea was planted many years ago. After lots of hard work, many ups and downs, and learning more than we ever could have imagined along the way, our dream became a reality when Green Note opened its doors in the Summer of 2005. Now in our fourteenth year, we have established a reputation as one of London’s best spots for roots, world and acoustic music, and we’re constantly astonished by the wealth of incredible musicians who grace our stage. We’re really proud of what we have created, and happy to be able to share it with you.
