Elizabeth pressed her forehead hard into the wet soil. She clenched her fists into a ball and whispered into the hole she?d clawed into the ground.

?The deeper I bury my secrets,? she thought, ?the more they will leave me be?.

But that night - just like every night since she had so gently closed the front door behind her for the last time - she heard them on the wind once more; at first a whisper, but soon a relentless howling that was too much for her to bear.

JOEY AND C?RA
Joey and Cára are familiar faces on the local scene and have been gigging solo since the ages of 14/15. They?ve known each other since school and over those years developed their own careers in music, Cára being signed to Warner and performing at Brits Week with Anne-Marie, Leanne La Havas and Tinie Tempah and a uk tour with The Shires, and Joey performing in band projects, writing with different artists including one that resulted in a performance at the Royal Albert Hall, and making a mark performing internationally out in Greece and Austria. The pair only recently started writing together and formed a duo at the start of 2022 with a shared love of Country Pop music from the likes of Lady A, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen and The Civil Wars. Their songwriting comes from a place of personal experiences and delivered in a Country Acoustic Pop style.

LUKE JAMES WILLIAMS
Former frontman of revered local alt.rockers The October Game, Luke James Williams is an indie-folk singer-songwriter who has gained huge support from BBC Introducing & BBC6 Music, a station which made the standout ?Still In Bed? a 6 Music Recommends Track Of The Week in 2019. Drawing on a wide range of influences, Luke has crafted a unique sound, painting pictures with words and singing them in his own distinctly English voice.
