Hi all, cost, & info below, St James Palace, Buckingham Palace and so much more! Please join everyone for a fascinating 3.4 mile walk around a rarely visited area of St James and also includes a lovely walk in London's oldest park, St James and walk beside its beautiful lake. St James is so incredible it has some of the oldest shops in the World dating back to the 1600's - old wooden shops all twisted, bent and torn that stood here before The Great Fire of London and the Great Plague, lost alleyways and the oldest beautiful street gas lamps dating back to George IV, stand and watch at the very front of Buckingham Palace with the Queen's Guards wearing large bearskin hats and marching, the famous balcony for Royal weddings, the incredible St James Palace the residence of Kings and Queens before Buckingham Palace (the only surviving Tudor Palace left in London) and see where the Proclamation was announced for the new King Charles III, where John Lennon met Yoko Ono, Prince Charles's past/present home at Clarence House, Princess Diana's most favorite restaurant, the smallest square in London, where Prince Charles had his stag do, several shops with the Royal Warrant of the Queen and Prince Charles, the oldest book shop in the World, the oldest hat shop, the oldest cheesemongers, the oldest wine merchants, the only place left in London where you can still smoke indoors, a private members club that was visited by the famous musicians of the 1960's, where Phileas Fogg left from for his travels and Michael Palin returned to in his ' Around the World in 80 days adventure', a Nazi memorial, a dual with pistols ending in death, all within 3 miles, well 3.4miles! wow!

Please do NOT turn up if on the waiting list, you will not be able to go on the walk sorry.

£5.50 limited Early Bird Tickets in advance, if tickets are not available to purchase, they have sold out. On this option, waiting list members can attend the walk, but ONLY with the early bird advanced ticket.

IF LATE, SORRY WE ARE UNABLE TO RECEIVE CALLS OR ANSWER EMAILS AS WELCOMING MEMBERS, LEADING THE WALK, AND CONCENTRATING ON THE SAFETY OF THE GROUP. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CATCH THE GROUP UP, PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.

Please note: Some events, being a large attended meetup group it will be an organised walk only, but members are very welcome to organise their own get-togethers after the event.
You are required to be fit, healthy, appropriate footwear & clothing, responsible for meeting at the correct location and your own safety. Please bring water and some snacks.
The organiser is not responsible for any circumstances that may affect the group, such as personal accidents, rail delays, cancellations, engineering works, heavy traffic, tours affected, weather, walk paths or routes closed, postcodes for car parks or for when we arrive back at the station, or anything else not mentioned!
