Superb 4 piece Black Country band playing a mixture of classic and alternative rock covers.
Featuring;
AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Muse, Royal Blood, Jet, Mountain, Motorhead....
Plus support from CFC (Chicken Fricassee Corporation) - providing their excellent twist of classic/blues rock covers - inc songs by Bachman Turner Overdrive (not that one), ZZ Top (not that one), Bo Diddley (not that one) and Eric Clapton (yes, that one).

Doors 8pm.
CFC 9pm.
Splinter 10pm (2 sets) live music wrapping up at 11.30 followed by rock DJ set til 2am.
Unless everyone's sick of rock by then and we'll whack some Shakin' Stevens on.

Description

We really really like music. We like putting on music events. We also really really like really nice people so we opened an independent venue to give a home to good live music and generally lovely folk. We span many genres. All of them in fact - at least we’re trying to - yes, even Jazz!

We’re friendly, cosy, alternative and intimate. We are a music venue for musicians.
We also do poetry nights, quizzes...you get the gist.

We much prefer original bands. We don’t mind a few covers thrown in but unless you’re offering something quite bonkers & original then it’s generally a no for covers.

Claptrap is 1st floor venue & bar, catering for live music, entertainment, theatre, poetry, quizzes & jazz. (Occasionally hired for private functions).

Not your usual venue - it has Chesterfield sofas, wingback chairs and frilly lampshades aplenty!

An extensive range of bottled and canned craft beers are available incl. Kona, Mongozo, Beavertown, Dark Arts, Siren, Wild Beer Co.

On draught - Freedom 4 Lager, Freedom Pale Ale, Thatchers Old Rascal Cider.
