Lisa Nandy is Shadow Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and has been the MP for Wigan since 2010. She has served on the opposition frontbench since 2012, including previous roles as Shadow Climate Change Secretary and Shadow Foreign Secretary. She came third in the 2020 Labour Leadership contest. A major thinker within the Party, Nandy has been described as the "authentic soft left" of the Party. She is set to publish her next book 'All In: How we build a country that works' in February 2023.
