Be a Conservation Engineer.
Come and learn exactly how engineers have been working on the Union Chain Bridge. Using Lego we'll explore how the bridge was built, what work it needed doing during its current restoration and have a go at doing exactly the same process.
Our suggested age range for this session is between 7 and 11 years, but if you are a little older or younger than this and are really interested, you will still be welcome. We do ask that you are accompanied by a responsible adult who will be responsible for you throughout, and who we hope will join in too!
If your family set up doesn't quite match our 1 adult + 2 children suggestion, that's fine, please book anyway, but also drop us an email to let us know how many of you there will be so we have enough tables, chairs and Lego sets! (ucb@museumsnorthumberland.org.uk)
