Imogen Cooper is passionate about giving exceptional young musicians the same support that she herself received at a critical stage in her artistic career ? from Alfred Brendel, Arthur Rubinstein and Clifford Curzon ? experiences that have resonated throughout her performing life. The distinguished Austrian baritone Wolfgang Holzmair is equally passionate about the need to support talented young artists at the start of their careers. All revenues from this recital will go towards Imogen Cooper's intense one-to-one masterclass study weeks that are enabling the next generation of outstanding musicians to develop their creative strengths in pursuit of artistic excellence.
