Description

The Country Soul Sessions would like to invite you to a special evening evening of Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, Rock N' Roll and Country Soul ?? ? ? ?

Florence Joelle

We are extremely pleased that Florence Joelle and her great band will be returning to the Country Soul Sessions. A Parisian based in London Florence Joelle has created her own musical landscape. Touches of blues, gypsy jazz, 1950's rhythm n' blues can all be heard in her lovingly crafted compositions. Her albums Kiss Of Fire (2011), Stealing Flowers (2013) and Life Is Beautiful If You Let It (2016) have all been well received and provide a complimenting musical document to this unique singer and personality. For this Session Florence will be accompanied by Ian Marcus (Flute/Saxophone), Nico Widdowson (Organ) and Felipe Amorin (Drums). Don?t miss her?.

Paul-Ronney Angel

We are delighted that Paul-Ronney Angel will be making his Country Soul Sessions debut in December. For 2 decades Paul-Ronney has been the singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and band leader for London?s The Urban Voodoo Machine.
Playing solo and armed with an acoustic guitar, a couple of blues harps, a kazoo and the devils song book, expect to hear this ?true street poet and a bad-ass guitar slinger? (Vive Le Rock) run through a heady mix of Rock ?N? Roll, Jazz and Eastern European Folk.
