N.U.M.B. - Never Underestimate Musical Belief
THE ORIGINAL REGGAE HIP-HOP MELODIC FUSION BAND.
With a catalogue of undiscovered hits, N.U.M.B. are the undisputed heavy weights of their game, infusing Reggae with Hip Hop, Drum and Bass, Indie and Rock. Think stadium anthem songs, fuelled with countless infectious hooks, beautiful harmonies, fat beats and seductive dub bass. Top it all off with a wealth of conscious raps and an unforgettable dynamic live performance, and you'll go home singing their songs for days.
They're respected songwriters too and upon establishing in 2007 their song 'Night Time' from their first album 'Local Anaesthetic', appeared on the Brit comedy film 'Three and Out' starring Mckenzie Crook, Imelda Staunton, Colm Meany, Gemma Arterton and the band attended the red carpet premiere in London's Leicester Square that year.
In the following years N.U.M.B. gained the attention in the form of sponsorship from Kangol, Fenchurch and Fila Clothing. In 2008 the band teamed up with guitar manufacturing giant Faith Guitars and ethical clothing company THTC and still proudly use their products 13 years later.
N.U.M.B. have supported acts such as Arrested Development, Mica Paris, Peter Andre, Finley Quaye, Frank Turner, The Beat, The Reason, Stooshe, The Dub Pistols, Dreadzone, Transglobal Underground, The Correspondents, Zion Train, Natty and Akala to name a few. They've also graced the stages of Glastonbury Festival, Secret Garden Party, Farmer Phil's Festival, Watchet Festival, Solfest, 02 Wireless Festival, Beachbreak Live, Lapstock Festival, Dorset Music Festival, Kingsbridge Festival, Nibley Festival and countless other boutique festivals, pubs and venues.
They've also recorded and released 4 albums and with a reputation to get any crowd jumping, N.U.M.B. pride themselves on their 'stick in your head' hooks and their proven track record for song writing. In 2009 they were finalists in the 02 Wireless Unsigned competition. In 2010 they came 2nd in the UK heat of Global Battle of the Bands. In 2011 they were nominated for 'Best Act' and 'Best Album' alongside Muse in The South West Music Awards...
...not to mention their string of uplifting and emersive music videos (over 100,000 views on facebook alone in 2019) and their ability to get any crowd singing along to their songs, N.U.M.B. definitely live by their moto. The name says it all really - Never Underestimate Musical Belief.
