The internationally acclaimed musician, poet and artist returns: bringing songs, stories and visions to navigate the shadows of human experience. Jo Beth Young (FKA Talitha Rise/RISE) is a hidden gem rising from the alt/neo-folk and prog scenes.
Inspired by her home in the West of Ireland, her ethereal vocals and mesmeric musical style have been enrapturing audiences since her 2018 debut album An Abandoned Orchid House and 2019?s follow-up Strangers.
Writing with raw authenticity, Jo Beth?s poetic world interweaves lullabies and battle cries in a way that is heartbreaking at times, but always hopeful and inspiring. Her live shows bring deep, emotional magic to the audience, and have captured the attention of the national press who have described them as "unmissable" and ?exquisite?.
Now, The Shadow Navigation Show brings a beautifully-crafted live experience aligned with Jo Beth?s much anticipated new album Broken Spells. It will feature spiritually charged storytelling, hypnotic original songs with an atmospheric film and visual backdrop as well as the work of masterful UK songwriter and roots musician Serious Child and other special friends. This promises to be an unforgettable night.
