Great works of art (which includes music) can often be full of story and meaning that can only be understood after years of experience ? or by having it explained by someone who's already got those years and who can bring something to life for those of us who've spent our time on other things.

Bach's Christmas Oratorio is full of such background ? come and hear it explained and discussed by Richard Gonski who has done the time and who' is great at bringing these classical music masterpieces to life in an entertaining way.

Richard is a conductor, composer and educator: he is Music Director of Torbay Symphony Orchestra, Director of SaMM, the Saturday Morning Music School in Totnes and the founder of Thinking Arts, an online music appreciation and learning resource.
