Description

In this affecting road movie, a mother and father are driving through the Iranian countryside with their taciturn adult son, his hyperactive little brother and a dog. As they travel to a destination that is only hinted at we see family tensions played out alongside laughter, sadness and serious political comment. There?s an underlying air of anxiety that pervades the passengers suggesting their journey may have a clandestine nature. A hit on the festival circuit in 2021, this is a deceptively simple, warm story, rich in nuance and attention to detail. (Subtitled)
