They've been away for a few years but now Rag Mamma Rag are coming back to perform in Blue Sky Cafe.

Formed in 1991, the English duo RAG MAMA RAG quickly made their reputation as one of the best country blues groups in Europe.

With an interesting and wide range of instruments (ASHLEY DOW, vocals, acoustic guitar, National and Dobro guitars, Hawaiian guitars, ukulele, (DEBORAH DOW, Harmonica, Washboard, other percussion and vocals.

RAG MAMA RAG play an array of American music from the 1920s, 30s and 40s encompassing different styles of Country, Blues, Ragtime Blues, Mississippi Blues and their own compositions. Their repertoire is distinguished and very varied.
Since their debut they have recorded nine CD albums.

RAG MAMA RAG shared the stage with several renowned artists, including Guy Davis, Procol Harum, Andy Fairweather Low (guitarist of the group Eric Clapton), Charl?lie Couture, Neil Innes (Monty Python and the group Bonzo Dog Doo Dah band)
After 30 years of touring they are still on the road and appearing at many big festivals in Europe
