David Fisher walked into Evan C Ritchie?s barber shop for a haircut carrying the implements of his busking trade.
Conversation revealed a mutual love of the traditional music of the ocean and the land, and the visit ended with a rousing rendition of Leave Her, Johnny and a promise to have a jam soon. Kings Heathens was formed, and the rest is history. 
Hailing from Milton Keynes and Texas respectively, adopted Brummies Fisher & Ritchie share a passion for Celtic and transatlantic folk, shanties and ballads. Expect rousing choruses, close harmonies and homages to Stan Rogers.
