Corrie Dick is a musician and composer specialising in euphoric, sonically-inventive drumming and celebrated for his playfully subversive take on style and genre. His writing is uniquely colourful and his playing is shaped by many musical perspectives. Corrie's latest album, Sun Swells, released last year on Ubuntu Music, showcases all of this to perfection. The new compositions are anchored by a rock guitar trio, with layers of fruity surprises, while the surging vocal melodies are counterpointed by mercurial horn playing.
