Jo Moseley, 58, is a single Mum of two adult sons from North Yorkshire. Alongside her lovely day job, she is also a writer, speaker and podcast host. She describes herself as a joy encourager, beach cleaner and midlife adventurer.
In 2019 Jo became the first woman to paddleboard coast to coast across northern England, picking up litter and fundraising for the 2 Minute Foundation and Wave Project. A film about her coast to coast SUP journey in 2019, called Brave Enough - A Journey Home to Joy has been screened at prestigious film festivals and sell out online events.
In 2021, Jo travelled the country with her paddleboard Grace, meeting wonderful paddleboarders and exploring over 30 gorgeous places for her first book Stand Up Paddleboarding in Great Britain - Beautiful Places to Paddleboard in England, Scotland and Wales with Vertebrate Publishing. It was the first and currently only guide dedicated to SUP that covers Great Britain. It has received an incredible welcome and was shortlisted for the Best Book of the Year in The Great Outdoors Magazine awards.
Martin Dorey MBE will interview Jo at Bude Library.
