Fran & Flora is a critically acclaimed and multi-award nominated experimental folk duo of Francesca Ter-Berg (cello/vocals) and Flora Curzon (violin/vocals). Their unique sound stems from the modes and melodies of Klezmer, Transylvanian, Romanian, Greek and Armenian music, as well as drawing on archival recordings, free improvisation and use of electronics (they will be playing acoustically for us). They have sold out venues including Kings Place (London), The Cube (Bristol), EFG London Jazz Festival, Shtetl Neukolln (Berlin), and Ancienne Belgique (Brussels). So we are thrilled to have them coming to Ettington. Tickets include a delicious veggie supper. Bring your own drink and glasses and we'll all have a wonderful evening together in this most beautiful of spaces.
