The Long Shorts
The Long Shorts are an acoustic rock duo raised on the poppy choruses of the sixties and seventies then rolled around in the mud of eighties and the grunge of the nineties.
We started to play in the back room of our parents houses, rehearsing and rehearsing until we were thrown out to go get into mischief. Our early songs centered around the lovelorn trials of teen discontentment played fast and loose and loud.
Ten years and a lot of miles later and we've turned down the angst and started writing with maturing wisdom about the love of family and friends and the larger look at the world, be it the finite balance of the environment or the tribulations of social media.
We are The Long Shorts, optimism in the power of people.

If the blues and electro music had a baby, this would be it.
Of course, it would be immediately taken into care or, at the very least, sold for medical experiments. Either way, this abomination would not be allowed within a country mile of civilised society. And rightly so.
However, should this bastard chimara ever utter a sensible syllable or coherent grunt then this would be the place to find it.

The Blue Belle Cafe
