Cronin is the musical project of Irish brothers Johnny and Michael Cronin. Along with Fiachra Milner and Brain Murphy they make music at their own Transmission Rooms recording studio.
They have so far released a full album (The First Kiss of Love) and one mini album (A view from the next room) and 4 stand alone singles.
They are due to release a new record by late 2023.
Returning from the UK to their native Ireland in the early 2000's they started releasing music under The Aftermath name for which they earned critical and commercial success in the charts and radio.
They collaborate regularly with legendary Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan, appearing with him on studio sessions, live gigs and TV shows. In addition, they performed his classic A Rainy Night in Soho at his wedding with actor Johnny Depp on guitar.
During their career they have shared stages with such legendary acts as Van Morrison, Kaiser Chiefs have Noel Gallagher use their Cd's to hide from the paparazzi, Niall Horan turned up to their shows and hop onstage for a song and acted as Bono and The Edge from U2's backing band on Ireland's premier TV show.
Aside from all that they have played shows and festivals across Europe and released some much acclaimed music.
The Brudenell is a lively and fun loving venue that embraces music and art under a wide and diverse umbrella that has no boundaries.
Our open music policy believes in freedom and creation and holds the belief that music and expression provide useful social interaction.
It is a community ‘non profitmaking’ venue, that holds charitable status, based in Leeds 6. The Brudenell Social Club is owned by its members, run by its members, for its members.
The Brudenell is most famous for hosting secret gigs for bands like Franz Ferdinand and the Kaiser Chiefs. However, it has been a centrepiece of the Leeds music scene for a number of years, and hosts gigs most nights of the week, which are put on by a variety of local promoters.
