Hello, good people of Somerset!

Gather round, and hear ye my news.

I am hoping you would like to come and join us for an afternoon of music and gathering, on Sunday the 7th of May 2023 - the Bank Holiday Weekend.

There will be an array of local delicious vittles, and delightful local music from 4 incredible artists, as we consecrate a new ground which will be opening it's doors, and sharing space, for community arts, creatives, and local producers around.

Wagg Meadow Farm, with it's beautiful asparagus, chickens who lay delicious eggs and inspiring views from it's beautiful location nestled within the droves of willow on Wagg Drove in Langport, have decided to share with their community, their roots based space.

We hope that this friendly, intimate and limited spaced event will bring smiles, joy, and community spirit.

ROBERT KIRKWOOD
A soulful, roots-y, and acoustic musician from Somerset, performing original songs with his guitar and harmonica. His storytelling, whimsical and nostalgic songs will fill your hearts with warmth, and take you back to the fondest of memories.

KIMMY
Hailing from the depths of Somerset, Kimmy will be performing Americana, Irish and English folk songs, and sing-a-long shanties with her banjo, and guitar. Come and sing as our forefathers and mothers had once done in days of yore!

PAUL MARTIN
Joining us too, will be Paul Martin, an enigmatic local musician performing his own songs on his acoustic guitar. Paul's self-penned songs and melodic, rich voice will transport you to a place of tranquil and meditative lands, as he takes you on his journey of music, inspired by his travels across faraway lands, sandy beaches, and heartfelt moments.

HEIDI THEAKER
And finally, for our special guest, the elusive Heidi Theaker will be treating us all to her dulcet sounds on her acoustic guitar. Her vocals are like honeydew, accompanied by her warm open tunings, with classics from Richard Thompson, Dick Gaughlin, and Sandy Denny.

? TRAVEL ?

If you can, please travel together, if there are a group of you coming. And be mindful of the beautifully lined droves of willow and other trees on either side of the road. Please be considerate of your surroundings, i.e, neighbors, nature, and wildlife.

There will be a detailed map posted to show people who wish to come, where the site is situated.

There will also be space for other musicians to turn up and play! Please bring your instruments along with you if you want to play your songs.
