Persian/Irish guitarist kourosh Kanani currently lives in London and over the last 10 years has been deeply involved in the world of Jazz Manouche, recorded and toured with Gypsy Jazz quartet Latchepen and also being a member of the London Django Collective.
Kourosh's latest project is his own trio with drummer Matt Davies and bassist Dave O'Brien. They are becoming internationally recognised as one of the most unique guitar trios currently working, drawing heavily on Persian folk music and the intricate rhythm systems of south India.
