Songs of glory and death from long ago: elegies containing themes from the pre-christian era. Celtic gods: The welsh poet Aneirin sang the Gododdin about 1400 years ago following the rout at Catraeth. This is a rendition of the old odes in English: bloody, poignant.
Contains graphic descriptions of battle violence. Ages 14+
