Celtic + Castilian fiddle duo María San Miguel and Galen Fraser are acclaimed multi-instrumentalists and educators celebrating the values of community and traditional music in their unique chamber music style. They have performed at various concert halls, music cycles and festivals in Europe and the USA. ?Fraser's fiddling entwines the robust crunch and skirl of the old world with the airy ostinato and shimmering tremolo of the new.? ? In support, James Patrick Gavin, hailing from North London, is a multi-instrumentalist composer with musical and family roots running from Northern Ireland to the Basque Country. Steeped in Irish music, his unique approach to guitar and fiddle has been described as ?magnificent in its irreverence? (Folk Radio UK). Working at the forefront of London?s folk music scene, James can be found amongst the ranks of TEYR, The Rad Orchestra, Jez Hellard and beyond.
