Lorraine Lucas Productions are proud to present Folkestone Songwriting Festival 2023 programme of events.
As well as the tutor team of leading songwriters and musicians leading the 4 hands on workshops ...Michele Stodart, Blair Dunlop, Findlay Napier and Sophia Stutchbury opening the weekends frivolities on Friday afternoon for the early birds we offer a guitar masterclass from Sam Dunn and singing workshops from Nina Clark.
Friday evening students get together and jam is a brand new addition which gives you an opportunity to meet each other, share a meal at The Lighthouse Tasting Rooms on The Harbour Arm which overlooks the English Channel ( on a clear evening you can see the lights of France) and an Open Stage where you can play us a few of your tunes or sit and listen.
Saturday and Sunday workshops with a Meet The Tutors In The Round concert and on Sunday morning a restorative beach gathering to take part in a Singing Circle session led by ILa Sebastian from London Contemporary Voices and a sea swim led by swimming coach Kirsty Hogben to get us in the zone for the days workshops.
All workshops, masterclasses, concerts gatherings inclusive .
