Thornton Hough Village Club presents Wigan folk troubadours and THVC favourites Merry Hell,
One of the most energetic and entertaining bands on the UK folk festival circuit, Merry Hell were founded on the ever-evolving folk tradition ? music made by the people and shared by the people ? though their hearts and souls are tuned to the songs which came before, Merry Hell bring us new words and music forged from their own experiences.
Merry Hell matriarch and one of their song writers Virginia Kettle will also perform a solo set showcasing material from her solo album ?No Place Like Tomorrow?.
