Description

John Ellis is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, author, photographer and illustrator, in this fascinating multimedia event he brings this work to life using photos, spoken work and song.

As a founder member of punk stalwarts The Vibrators he made his name in that genre before moving on to pastures new, playing and touring with the likes of Peter Hamill, Peter Gabriel and The Stranglers. He has created numerous solo projects in many fields, not least his latest venture into novel writing which has borne fruit in the book A Gift of Serenity, the first part of a projected trilogy.

Tonight John will discuss the many facets of his life and work including the various acts he has been involved with, illustrated along the way with images and songs both old and new.

Please note the venue doors will open at 7pm but the bar will be open from 6pm for pre show drinks.
