London born and raised, rising trumpet star Poppy Daniels has quickly become an integral part of the UK jazz scene. She has recently performed with the likes of Blue Lab Beats, China Moses, Daniel Casimir, Roella Oloro, Celeste, Nix Northwest, Nu Civilisation Orchestra, Colectiva, Eliane Correa and more. Though still only 23, she has already travelled the world, playing at venues including Ronnie Scott?s, the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Jazz Cafe, O2 Arena, Alexandra Palace, plus Radio City Hall, New York, and Jazz ? Vienne. Her style and versatility branches across multiple genres from jazz, to hip-hop to latin, reflecting her diverse skill set and musical palette. After years building a name for herself and developing her sound Poppy is excited to introduce her new quintet, a celebration of the sounds which have shaped her. Expect a hot pot of jazz, fusion, hip-hop and Latin, through the unique tone of one of London most exciting up and coming trumpet voices.

After the success of her sold-out debut show at the Brick Lane Jazz Festival, Poppy has a busy year ahead of live bookings as well as her debut recordings. This is just the beginning of a rich musical journey which you won?t want to miss. Her band tonight consists of Kian Cardenas (guitar), Alae Ionna (keys), Tricky Hunt (bass) and Lox (drums).
