PEARL FISH Sep 28 2023
PEARL FISH
Pearl Fish is a songwriter, singer and musician from SE London, currently living itinerantly on the
UK?s historically woven waterways. Intimate and warm, her sound shifts with a transient scape of
musicians and projects, fronted by Pearl?s ?sometimes spoken and sometimes soaring? vocals and
lyrics fuelled by ?murmurings of melancholia, hope and wit?.
Last year she was invited to play in The Den at Cambridge folk festival, having previously played
stages at Greenbelt, Liverpool Sound City and Smallworld. The summer of 2021 saw her support
Rachel Sermanni on tour with The Nest Collective around the UK, and Glasgow?s King Tuts
welcomed her as part of Celtic Connections. A rip roaring sold out show at South London cult
classic The Matchstick Piehouse in 2022 saw the release of her most recent EP Moves Through
Matter.
Autumn 2023 brings with it a collaborative UK tour alongside the release of a new project in the
works.
Pearl Fish is on most streaming platforms.
ROB QUO A contemporary folk/blues performer, Rob Quo is a London-Based singer-songwriter;
emotive & humorous in equal measure, his songs touch on the human experience with lyrical grace

Having lived in the Capital for ten years, Quo has carved out his own space among the fertile
singer-songwriter scene, nurturing a sound that has lead to comparisons to the likes of John Martyn,
Otis Redding and Cat Stevens. His reputation as a live performer now sees him regularly treading
the boards at some of London?s most well-loved grassroot venues including Camden?s Green Note
and The Water Rats, Kings Cross.

Bozard is a London based Songwriter. Originally from Sicily, he?s been making a name for himself
in the Blues Bars of the Big Smoke such as Ain?t Nothing But, Spiritual Records, 100 Club, and
Blues Kitchen amongst others.
His music touches on subjects such as incommunicability and movement, harbouring seeds of
restlessness and surrendering to some sort of constant pilgrimage to the next Winter.
?This is unique and off the wall stuff [...] There is so much to hold our attention and once it has it,
we can explore the highways and byways of broken moon to our hearts content. Bozard is
breaking new ground here and underneath the fresh turned soil is a bumper harvest.? Mp3Hugger
Expect a small, friendly, quirky venue with a heart - a bar selling beer, wine and hot and cold drinks and always cake. The venue is accessible, on one level. You will be seated at tables or in rows, according to numbers in the audience.
The first hour of concerts is livestreamed on YouTube. You can watch it any time after 7.30 on the night of the concert via the Rosslyn Court Website. There is an exclusive second set for the audience in the room, including a Q&A with the performers.
In buying a ticket you are entered for the Rosslyn Court raffle. You may win a CD or a ?Who Gives A Crap? emergency toilet roll. WGAC donate half their profits to water charities and are plastic free.
There is usually a floor singer and often a 2-minute community slot informing us of what happens locally. The second half starts with a Q&A and is not livestreamed. Sometimes there is a floor song.
The concerts usually finish at 9.30.
