Time Is Of The Essence is one of those bands that seems to have got the balance just right between edifying and entertaining its audience! The Observer, in reviewing a gig wrote that ?there was never a dull moment throughout this highly engaging programme?!
Featuring the outstanding saxophonist Ollie Weston, the band performs original pieces ("finely honed, instantly appealing and right up there with any contemporary jazz writing?? ~ The Guardian) and fiesty fare by the likes of Steely Dan, John Scofield and Stevie Wonder.
