Lucy Ward (UK), Svavar Knutur (Iceland) and Adyn Townes (Canada) form a trio of supremely talented singer-songwriters, who came together in 2020 in a global music experiment called Global Music Match. The resulting debut album was recorded in Iceland and will be released in October, accompanied by an extensive UK tour. It is an album that has storytelling at its heart, exploring love, mystery, folklore and longing.
On stage, the rapport between Ward Knutur Townes is effervescent, and there is magic in watching their joyful, authentic camaraderie unfold.
