Description

"On the stage, Julia's enchanting charisma and spontaneous nature unites with a reverent sense of lucidity, composure and sophistication ... invoking a seductive kind of storyteller's sorcery. A magic that extends to her unique, unforgettable melodies and heartfelt lyrics; occurring in such a way that sets her 'a millennia apart (from her) contemporaries' (Paul Oldfield, Radio Presenter).
At the age of just fifteen she won the 'Staffordshire's Pop Stars' competition with an original composition called 'Slipping Away' which later appeared on her debut, self-written and home-made album 'Fairytale' (2010).

Her pursuit of a musical career started at Manchester Metropolitan University where she studied for a Popular Music Degree followed by a Masters' in Contemporary Arts. Whilst studying at University she composed and performed in two enchanting and thought-provoking Musical Theatre shows. In 2011 she formed a band who recorded an album featuring eight of Julia's creatively written songs.

Julia later started her journey into recording as a solo artist, this led to the release of a debut EP of 'class and wonder' (Nick J. Townsend) titled 'Once in a Blue Moon' (2017). Following on from this, the 'Julia Mosley Band' was formed; the uniting of this fellowship ignited the creation of the debut album 'Illuminate the Night' (2020). 2023 sees Julia's return as a solo artist with the release of her darkest album to date, 'Ballad of a Murderess' (Due for Release August 2023).

Julia's lyrics, songwriting and singing was promoted by the international touring musician Mad Gallica, Backing Vocalist and Keyboardist in the Grammy Award winning band Ghost. Mad Gallica chose Julia's emotionally moving song 'September Song' as the winner of an 'Original Song Competition'. This meant that the song was covered by Mad Gallica during one of her livestream shows. Also mentioning Julia on social media, Mad Gallica talked about her high regard for Julia's songwriting and singing ability, using words like 'phenomenal' to describe her experience of Julia's song. Mad Gallica went on to say that 'September Song' was her 'favourite song' of the show."
