SOUNDSPHERE (Judith Simpson, Sarah Dean, Paula Ryan) are so excited to announce the launch of their brand new album entitled "Joined Up Writing". The title reflects the unique aspect of this album which is made up of totally new original songs, jointly composed by Judith, Sarah and Paula. This marks a new and exciting creative departure for Soundsphere whose previous albums have comprised of novel arrangements of songs from a variety of cultures and in multiple languages from around the world.
In a fascinating artistic development for SOUNDSPHERE, "Joined Up Writing", as the name implies, will feature self penned songs which Judith, Sarah and Paula wrote together over the challenging period of eighteen months during the pandemic. The result is a fascinating collection of pieces in English covering a variety of musical genres, acutely perceptive, personal, inspiring lyrics, captivating melodies and Soundsphere's signature glorious three part harmony and punchy percussion.
SOUNDSPHERE are so happy to be launching the new album as guests of the Black Swan Folk Club, a club very dear to their hearts. For the album launch, Soundsphere will perform all the songs in English from the new album while incorporating some favourite Soundsphere classics from our existing eclectic multicultural, multilingual repertoire.
