Hi all, cost & info below, 'once every 2 years midweek walk', A delightful rare 7 mile linear walk from Leytonstone Underground Station (Central Line) to Leyton Underground Station (Central Line). A beautiful stroll, much of the walk countryside environment, beautiful lakes, plenty of time to socialise and also find out some very brief info like the birthplace of Alfred Hitchcock, some murals to Alfred Hitchcock, Dick Turpin?s last stand, we also go into the stunning City Of London Cemetery with ponds, roses and flowerbeds in a wonderful setting and the rare opportunity to pay our respects to the graves and peaceful resting place of 3 of Jack the Ripper?s Victims, Mary Jane Kelly, Catherine Eddowes and Mary Ann Nichols and also Bobby Moore (Captain of 1966 World Cup) A rare chance for a delightful day out in a wonderful area not usually visited.

RSVP and arrive on the day of the walk, £8 cash/card payment. Please note: This is regardless of whether the 'Early Bird' option below is available or not. Feel free to turn up on the day, no need for a ticket in advance; it's as simple as that!

(or) CHEAPER 'EARLY BIRD' £5.50 IN ADVANCE

There is an additional option to pay cheaper in advance for £5.50. The 'early bird' payment works exactly like some music festivals for example, where you have the 'cheaper' early bird option before the event, instead of the on-the-day payment option above. The limited 'early bird' tickets are taken off sale about a week before the date listed for the meetup event, or the tickets may even sell out sooner!

WHERE TO MEET

Walk departs from outside the front of Leytonstone Underground Station (Central Line) by the large tree and Le Parisien Cafe. (Please note: NOT Leyton Station)

EVENING WALK TOO? PLEASE VIEW ON MEETUP (SUMMER DAYS ONLY)

If you decide to come along on the evening walk as well, the evening's underground station for this date is nearby to this walk. You will receive a discounted cost of £3 instead of the £5 evening cost as you have attended in the afternoon. £3 payable at the start of the evening walk. There will be time to sit down and eat between the afternoon and summer evening chilled, walks. Evening walks are based on a beautiful walk only and not a part tour.

PLEASE ensure ARRIVAL at least 15 minutes BEFORE the start of the walk, sorry no latecomers are accepted for whatever reason.

Members attend the unique walks from our different meetup groups.

IF LATE, SORRY WE ARE UNABLE TO RECEIVE CALLS OR ANSWER EMAILS AS WELCOMING MEMBERS, LEADING THE WALK, AND CONCENTRATING ON THE SAFETY OF THE GROUP. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CATCH THE GROUP UP, PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.

Part Tour - Medium pace walk from 'Visit England' Award-Winning Guide and our group featured in the National Press! Please Note: Some events, being a large attended meetup group will be an organised walk only, but members are very welcome to organise their own get-togethers after the event.

You are required to be fit and healthy with appropriate footwear & clothing, responsible for meeting at the correct location, own safety and to not lose the group by viewing the organiser/making the organiser aware as much as possible, or follow/not lose sight of the person(s) from the same walk in front. We advise carrying water and some snacks.

The organiser is also not responsible for any circumstances that may affect the group or personally such as personal accidents, rail information, engineering works, cancellations, rail strikes or delays, heavy traffic, tours affected, weather, walk paths or routes closed, postcodes for car parks or for when we arrive back at the station, or anything else not mentioned!
