La Horla Collective organises multimedia events to showcase the more alternative side of Brighton's local talents.
Expect a fantastic evening of arts, visuals and live music, all under the same roof and more importantly a chance to mingle with some of Brighton's most creative minds!
MUSIC
- Horla
An immersive journey through images and music like no other, exploring all aspects of the human psyche - from fears and repulsion to the most beautiful moments created by the human mind.
It will be like experiencing a soundtrack created on the spot and as itʼs improvised , every instalment is always different from the last.
With strong influences from the 70s/80s Horror and B-movies , expect vintage sounds and images which will trigger a nostalgic trip to the glory days of this genre.
- "Ghost Emma"
Narrated, composed and sung by the multitalented Ben Featherstone
- Baby Hair
BABY HAIR live performances are communal ?happenings?, and magic rituals. They use costumes and synchronised dance, symbolic and spiritual gesture, and props to open portals to other dimensions, scattering dust, feathers and flower petals, and chalking the floors. Their first ever live show was described as being ?beautiful? and ?important? in THE WIRE magazine.
ART
- Lost Toye (animation)
- Good Witch Offerings (handmade arts)
- Elizabeth Clements (illustration)
