Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Marcelo Andrade is once again bringing his magic Brazilian band to the Crypt, with a truly stellar lineup.
Playing original material from his album ?African Tree? which was recorded in East Africa, Europe and his homeland Brazil and included over 70 musicians, this gig is sure to be a special one.
African Tree celebrates the influence of African music in Brazilian music, with an eclectic mix of Samba, Baião,Xote, Bossa Nova, Choro and Jazz, with very strong improvisational elements.
