South African chromatic harmonica virtuoso & pianist Adam Glasser - (whose unique repertoire draws deeply on SA Township Jazz as well as modern standards referencing Toots Thielemans) - has released two critically acclaimed albums 'Free at First' (Winner - Best Jazz album South African Music Awards 2010) and 'Mzansi' (SAMA 2012 Nominated).
His harmonica can be heard on countless sessions notably the title track of Abdullah Ibrahim's album 'The Balance'. Past work on piano & harmonica include over several decades Dudu Pukwana, Martha Reeves, Jimmy Witherspoon, Sting, The Eurythmics, Joe Zawinul, Incognito, Pino Palladino and Hugh Masekela as well as collaborations with many leading musicians on the UK Jazz scene.
