Develop Your Drawing: Every Friday from 4th August to 8th September. 6.30pm to 8.30pm in the gallery's Workshop Room.*

This six-session course led by Geoff Chilton, Resident Artist at The Green Man Gallery, Buxton, is aimed at those who have some knowledge of drawing, but would like to develop their skills further, though the material is accessible to all.

The course tackles elements such as tone and shading, landscape, figure drawing, keeping a sketchbook, using colour and other subjects. Geoff shows how and when to develop representational drawings and when to free up your style and manipulate the subject matter.

Cost £90 for six sessions. (It is possible to pay in 3 instalments of £30 but this option can only be booked directly at the gallery, in person or by phone during opening hours.)

*NB The Workshop Room is reached via one flight of stairs. Unfortunately there is no lift.
