Description

South London based quartet Chebetojazz are led by dynamic saxophonist Jose ?Chebeto? Requena. Chebeto is an accomplished classical and jazz multi instrumentalist, playing alto and soprano saxophone, clarinet and flute. He takes his inspiration from the Latin and Caribbean rhythms of his birthplace, Margarita Island Venezuela.

Steve Butcher (drums), Michael Giaquinto (bass) and Nick McCarthy (Guitar) make up Chebetojazz, and fuse Chebeto's Latin influences with energy from the south London punk, indie and jazz scenes. Chebetojazz will play a vibrant mix of jazz standards and their own compositions, written by Jose and Nick.
