Generating Steam Heat presents the return to Things Happen Here of the brilliant XSLF with support from Welsh punk legends No Choice.

XSLF formed in 2013 when original Stiff Little Fingers guitarist Henry Cluney reconnected with SLF drummer Jim Reilly to play shows concentrating on the first three classic SLF albums, ?Inflamable Material?, ?Nobodys Heroes? and ?Go For It?.

The band have been touring ever since, playing festivals and sweaty club shows, kicking up a racket as they play hit after hit to Stiff Little Fingers huge and loyal fan base and new generations of fans who have discovered brilliant songs like ?Alternative Ulster?, ?Suspect Device?, ?Tin Soldier? and the bands reggae/punk cover of Bob Marleys ?Johnny Was?.

XSLF played Things Happen Here earlier this year and were amazing!

We have at real bonus for this gig with support on this show from Cardiff punks No Choice. The bands first ever release , the 'Sadists Dream' 7'' was released on on the legendary Bristol punk label Riot City Records in the early eighties. The band have a brand new album 'And Still Some Cannot See? out now on Weird Beard Records and it's genuinely one of the best new punk albums we have heard in years at GSH h.q.

Come and join XSLF, No Choice and the GSH crew at Things Happen Here at Meadowbrook in Dartington. The show starts at 7pm and finishes at 10 to allow everyone to get home ready for whatever Monday brings! Things Happen Here will remain open until 11pm for post gig drinks.
