We are thrilled to welcome Folk Legends Steve Knightley & Phil Beer to Harwell Village Hall.
After thirty remarkable years of non-stop touring Show of Hands, comprising Steve Knightley and Phil Beer, have announced that they will no longer tour together as Show of Hands for the foreseeable future. Whilst Phil and Steve will still be available for recording, solo touring, and special events, the duo has decided to prioritise their well-being, creativity, and longevity above the demands of the road.
This final ?Full Circle? tour of two parts is a chance for Show of Hands to say goodbye and celebrate the music they love so much. They are excited to take this opportunity to reflect on their incredible journey and share their music with fans old and new, and hope you can all join them to make it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Harwell Village Hall was opened in the 1930s and since then has been a well-used social centre for the village and surrounding areas.
The hall is the focus of many groups from the village and the surrounding area who meet weekly or monthly in either the Orchard or Cherry Hall for a variety of pursuits including fitness and dance for both young and old, Arts and Crafts, Woodturners, Harwell WI, Short Mat Bowls, various clubs for toddlers and young children such as Fun Club, our youth theatre group Gobo Theatre and the Harwell Parish History Group. It is also the local Polling Station and the Parish Council have an office by the foyer entrance.
