We're delighted to welcome Irish alt-folk alchemist SEAMUS FOGARTY to "Folk at the Farrier".
Seamus released his third album ?A Bag Of Eyes? at the end of 2020. His second album for Domino Records (Shirley Collins, Robert Wyatt etc), it follows on from the success of 2017?s ?The Curious Hand?, an album that was widely praised for its fresh approach to folk music and traditional instrumentation. He released his debut full-length, ?God Damn You Mountain?, on cult Scottish label Fence Records in 2012
Earlier this year he toured the UK with Irish folk sensation Lisa O?Neill and he has appeared at many notable festivals including Green Man, Cambridge Folk Festival, Latitude, Eurosonic and Haldern Pop. He has also recorded live sessions for Mark Radcliffe on his BBC Radio 2 folk show and Cerys Matthews on BBC 6Music. Expect a mixture of songs and stories taken from his previous albums and a new collection of material due out early next year.
