The Braughing Jamboree Bag is an occasional night of comedy and variety where you never know quite what youâ??re going to get. It could be a big name that youâ??ve seen on the TV or paid ?£40 to see in the theatre. It may be a complete unknown thatâ??s on the way up. It might be stand-up, magic, music or madness. Youâ??re taking a lucky dip into modern variety.

Each show will feature a host compere to guide you through the night and will present at least three different acts. You may not like them all, but the odds are in your favour. The aim is to have a fun night in an intimate venue and be entertained by professional performers.

Liquid refreshments will be available throughout the show at reasonable prices. We wonâ??t be serving food as weâ??ve found it comes out through people's noses when they laugh too much.

Doors will open at 7.30pm and weâ??ll start the show soon after 8pm, finishing at about 10.30pm.
Please bear in mind that the venue is in a residential area, so weâ??d appreciate it if you park (and leave) responsibly. These are designed to be friendly shows for everyone so if your behaviour is unreasonable youâ??ll be asked to leave without refund. Shows are designed for adults (over 18s only) and are not for the easily offended (although nothing that you couldnâ??t see on TV before 11pm).

COVID stuff:

Please do not attend shows if you answer YES to any of the following questions:
â?¢ Today, or in the last 10 days, have you had any of the following symptoms: high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste?
â?¢ Today, or in the last 10 days, are you self-isolating having been contacted by the NHS Test and Trace services or after returning to/entering the UK?
â?¢ Today, or in the last 10 days, have you or anyone in your household tested positive for COVID-19?
If you experience any symptoms after leaving the venue, please let us know and we will inform NHS for any necessary follow-up. By booking online, the ticketing agency holds Track-and-Trace information to pass on to NHS if needed. We would also encourage you to sign into the venue via the QR code at the entrance.
Tickets may be cancelled or transferred up to 6pm on the night of the performance. In the event of the venue having to cancel a show, you will be refunded.
Mask wearing is at your discretion, but we ask you to respect the wishes and safety of others around you. Please maintain social distancing courtesies when moving around the venue. Hand sanitiser will be available at the entrance. We will be increasing ventilation â?? this may mean the venue is colder than usual â?? please bear this in mind. Full cleaning will be carried out between events.
Do not move any furniture within the venue. This is a condition of entry.
