Continuing the series of Worthing Island Discs, where artists talk about key tracks that have shaped their lives, Train Of Thought Record Shop welcomes Pete Fij for an evening of musical reflection and stories.
Pete has had a varied musical career - first as front man of Adorable, signed to Creation Records touring worldwide in the early 1990's (Against Perfection 1992 / Fake 1994), and then in Polak, signed to One Little Indian (Swansongs 1999 / Rubbernecking 2002), before teaming up with Terry Bickers (ex-House of Love) for 2 critically acclaimed low key intimate albums (Broken Heart Surgery 2014 / We Are Millionaires 2017) which have featured on BBC 6Music (twice single of the week), Radio 4, Radio 2, & BBC5 Live.
Seats are limited, so this is a ticketed event at a nominal £2 which will go to Alzheimers Society (although you are welcome to pay more should you wish).
Refreshments will also be available on the night.
