Kate Shortt is an award-winning freelance cellist, pianist, vocalist and comedienne. Her work takes her through eclectic genres including Portuguese Fado, Classical, Jazz, Theatre, Rock, Comedy and Free improvisation. Past work with pop artists include Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet, Take That and Simon Le Bon.Kate performs her unique one woman sit-down comedy show with cello, keyboard plus more with original songsof life observation, impressions and topics ranging from Jewish cats to love and Bach!2Festivals include Edinburgh/Madrid Gras for Classic Fm/Covent Garden and Austria.
