No conversations discussing who are amongst the heaviest of the heaviest of UK metal acts can be complete without mentioning Bristol based sludge trio TORPOR. Over the past ten years this colossal band have been obliterating stages across the UK and mainland Europe, leaving behind an impressive discography along the way. Their new record via Human Worth sees the trio pushing at the limits of their earthy sound in all directions, fully realising their visceral and cinematic vision.

Sonically visceral and unrepentantly abrasive, London / Brighton duo Modern Technology are a cornerstone of the UK noise DIY scene, described by The Quietus as "so dense and ferocious, it's hard to believe the band consists of only two members." Celebrating the launch of their hotly anticipated second full-length 'Conditions of Worth' releasing 13th October via Human Worth ? an impressive balance between the band's relentless energy and raw emotion, the record is undoubtedly their most impervious, and fragile work to date.
